Our Lady appeared to Ivan on top of Apparition Mountain tonight, August 23, 2013, at approximately 10:00 p.m. underneath a clear sky full of stars. Ivan’s prayer group led a rosary in preparation for the apparition, and Our Lady appeared to Ivan for approximately 10 minutes. A bright, full moon could be seen beginning to rise over the crest of Apparition Mountain at the end of the apparition, helping to light the way for pilgrims as they descended the mountainside. After the apparition to Ivan on August 23, 2013 on Apparition Mountain which took place just before 10:00 p.m. Ivan said:

“Also today, as every day after the meeting with Our Lady I would like to describe to all of you what is most important from tonight’s meeting with Our Lady. It is always difficult to describe the meeting with Our Lady in words and to find the right words – to be able to express everything – so I use the words which I have to describe to you what is the most important.

“Also tonight Our Lady came to us very joyful and happy and at the beginning, She greeted all of us with Her customary Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus, my dear children.’ Then She extended Her arms over all of us and for a longer time prayed here over all of us in Her Aramaic language. Then She prayed especially over the sick present here. Then Our Lady said:

“Dear children, also today I call you: Open your hearts to peace. Dear children, pray, pray of the King of Peace to grant you peace. Open yourselves to Him. He is your King. Dear children, especially during this time, pray for peace in the world. Pray for my plans which I desire to realize – plans of peace. Pray, dear children. Pray that peace may come to rule over the world. Thank you also today for having said ‘yes’ to my call.”

“Then Our Lady blessed all of us with Her Motherly blessing, and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed.

“As always, so also today, I recommended all of you, all your needs, your intentions, your families and in a special way, all of the sick present and those who in a special way recommended themselves in prayer. After that Our Lady extended Her arms and prayed over all of us here and after that prayer She left in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’

“This is what would be the most important from tonight’s meeting. I would like to repeat that in two days we are waiting for Our Lady’s message which She will direct to the whole world. And we will see what Our Lady desires and asks of us. Thank you.”

A beautiful sunset behind the distant mountains and warm, gentle breezes preceded Our Lady’s arrival tonight, Monday August 12, 2013. A sky full of stars and a crescent moon rising over Cross Mountain appeared as the day gave way to night. Pilgrims spread themselves all around the Blue Cross and readied their hearts for Our Lady with the rosary led by Ivan’s prayer group. The apparition lasted approximately 8 minutes. Our Lady appeared to Ivan around 10:00 p.m. tonight, August 12, 2013, during his prayer group meeting at the Blue Cross. The following is Ivan’s description of the apparition:

“Tonight I would like to describe tonight’s meeting with Our Lady and what is the most important. It is always difficult to describe the meeting with Our Lady in words and to find the right words – to be able to express everything in these words – so I will use the words which I have to briefly describe to you.

“Also tonight Our Lady came to us very joyful and happy and at the beginning, She greeted all of us with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then She extended Her arms over all of us and for a longer time prayed. Then She prayed especially over the sick present here, and then She blessed all of us with Her Motherly blessing, and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed. Then Our Lady continued especially to pray for a longer time for peace in the world and peace in the families.

“Then I recommended all of you, all your needs, your intentions, your families and in a special way, all of you sick present. After that Our Lady prayed especially for peace and left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’

“This is what would be the most important from tonight’s meeting. There was no special message tonight. Our Lady tonight, for a long time, especially prayed for peace in the families and peace in the world. Thank you.”

Our Lady appeared to Ivan tonight on Apparition Mountain a few minutes before 11:00 p.m. It was a warm, clear, star-filled night, and several thousands of pilgrims slowly trickled up the mountain, completely filling the area surrounding Our Lady’s statue and spilling down the mountainside as well. Ivan’s prayer group prayed a rosary leading up to the apparition with songs sung in between. Our Lady appeared to Ivan after the ‘Hail Holy Queen’ was prayed, and the apparition lasted a little longer than 10 minutes. The mountain top was completely silent throughout the entire apparition. When it came time for Ivan to describe the apparition over the microphone, he raised the microphone to his mouth 3 separate times and lowered it back down before he brought it back up the 4th time and began to speak. It looked as though he was trying to compose himself to speak, but was not able to begin until his 4th try. After the apparition to Ivan on August 5, 2013 just before 11:00 p.m. Ivan said:

“Tonight, as every day after my meeting together with Our Lady I would also like to share with you tonight’s meeting to describe it to you – although it is very, very difficult to describe a meeting with Her. It is difficult to find the right words – to describe the beauty of Our Lady – to describe the meeting together with Her – that feeling – that experience. In a special way what is always the most difficult for me is to describe the love of the Mother – how much the Mother loves us – how much She desires to help us – Her perseverance in leading all of us towards The Son. That is why in these words which I have, I desire to share what is the most important from tonight’s meeting.

“Also tonight Our Lady came to us very, very joyful and happy. She greeted all of us with Her motherly greeting: ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then She extended Her arms over all of us here and She prayed for a longer time in Her Aramaic language. She especially prayed over those of you who are sick here and over you priests. Then Our Lady said:

‘Dear children, today also in this my great joy watching all of you with an open heart, a joyful heart, I call all of you to responsibly pray for peace. Pray, dear children, that peace may come to rule in the world – that peace may come to rule in the hearts of men, in the hearts of my children. That is why, be my carriers of peace in this restless world. Be my living sign – a sign of peace. Where you meet with people, in your parish, be my sign, be my light, my mirror to others. Know, dear children, that I am always with you and that I pray for all of you – and that I intercede for all of you before Jesus, before my Son. Therefore persevere in prayer. Thank you also today for having said ‘yes’ to my call.’

After that Our Lady blessed all with her Motherly blessing and also She blessed everything you brought for blessing. I also recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families, and in a special way, all the sick, and all those who recommended themselves in a special way to pray for them. Our Mother intercedes for all of us before Her Son. Our Lady then continued to pray, in Her great joy She prayed over all of us here and She left in this prayer in an illuminated sign of the cross with the greeting:

‘Go in peace, my dear children!’

This would be the most important from tonight’s meeting – a meeting filled with joy. Thank you.”

Ivan had his prayer group apparition tonight on top of Apparition Mountain. Pilgrims began to gather up on the mountain before 6:00 p.m. By the time the apparition began, there were tens of thousands of pilgrims gathered to pray and be before Our Lady on this first day of the 32nd anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions here in Medjugorje. Ivan led everyone present in the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. Our Lady appeared around 10:00 p.m. and the apparition lasted for several minutes. The following is Ivan’s description of the apparition.

“Today, as always after the meeting with Our Lady, I would like to describe also to you what is most important from tonight’s meeting. At the beginning, I would like to say that it is very difficult to describe the meeting with Our Lady in words and to find the right words, especially today when Our Lady, on today’s date, touched this place and when we saw Her for the first time. In a special way today, She came to us very, very joyful and happy. At the beginning, She greeted all of us with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then She extended Her arms and for a longer time prayed over all of us. In a special way, She prayed for the sick present here. Then Our Lady said:

“Dear children, I am coming to you joyful and with joy. I desire to call you also today: accept my messages and live my messages. Dear children, with you I desire to realize my plans with the world and with the Church. In a special way, I call you today: renew my messages, live my messages. I introduced myself as the Queen of Peace and today I call you, in a special way, to pray for peace, for peace in men’s hearts, for peace in your hearts. Because peace comes from your heart. Dear children, the Mother prays for all of you. The Mother loves you all with Her Motherly love and intercedes for you before Her Son. Dear children, also today I say thank you. Thank you for having accepted me and for continuing to accept my messages.”

Then I recommended all of you, all your needs, your intentions, your families and in a special way, all the sick. A pleasant conversation followed between us that remains only between us. After that conversation, Our Lady left in prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’

“Also I must say that Our Lady blessed us all with Her Motherly blessing and She blessed everything you brought to be blessed. This would be what is the most important from tonight’s meeting with Our Lady. We all know that tomorrow is the 25th and that on every 25th Our Lady turns to us with Her message which She gives for the whole world. We will wait until tomorrow to see what Our Lady desires to say to all of us.
